Dr. Vladimíra Tomečková is a distinguished associate professor and researcher at the Institute of Medical and Clinical Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia. Dr. Tomečková has been honored with the Rector’s Award for promoting scientific awareness and remains deeply engaged in public science education through events like the “Night of Researchers” and “University without Borders.” A dedicated member of the Slovak Chemical Society and the Slovak Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, she continues to inspire innovation, education, and interdisciplinary research at the interface of biochemistry, medicine, and art.
