Prof. Girish Mukundrao Joshi, a Full Professor of Engineering Physics and Materials at ICT Mumbai’s off-campus in Marathwada Jalna, boasts over 20 years of teaching experience. He has been a visiting scientist at UCLM, Spain, and has published 150 articles in prestigious international journals, holding two granted patents. An APA life member, fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences, and life fellow of the Indian Chemical Society, he received the National Best Teacher Award by Krishmurthy Trust in 2017. He has mentored seven doctorates, executed major research projects, and serves on various editorial and expert boards. Recently, he was appointed to CIPET’s Innovation Cell and DBATU’s Academic Council.

I am currently a Research Officer at the Radiation Protection Laboratory, Research Centre of Nuclear Science and Technology (CRSTN) within the Institute of Geological and Mining Research (IRGM), Cameroon. This year, I defended my PhD thesis in Nuclear Physics, focusing on public exposure to natural radioactivity in Cameroonian homes. My work involves environmental radioactivity monitoring and public dose studies in mining areas, alongside various IAEA projects to mitigate radon levels. I am currently a Research Officer leading the Radiation Protection Laboratory at the Research Centre of Nuclear Science and Technology (CRSTN), part of the Institute of Geological and Mining Research (IRGM) under Cameroonโ€™s Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation (MINRESI). This year, I defended my PhD thesis in Nuclear Physics, focusing on Dosimetry and Radiation Protection at the Center for Atomic Molecular Physics and Quantum Optics (CEPAMOQ), University of Douala, Cameroon. My research examines public exposure to natural radioactivity in Cameroonian homes. ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ My daily responsibilities involve monitoring environmental radioactivity and studying public doses in mining regions. I am actively engaged in various nuclear science projects, including those with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), aimed at mitigating radon levels through the National Radon Plan. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ”As a co-author of about twenty scientific publications, I have garnered recognition for my contributions, including the Best Junior Researcher Award in 2021. Dr. Tzu-Chi Chan (Watson) received his Ph.D. degree from National Tsing Hua University in 2012, specializing in Power Mechanical Engineering. Since then, he has joined the National Formosa University (NFU) in Taiwan. Dr. Chan has served at the Precision Machinery Research and Development Center (PMC), a research organization in the precision machinery field funded by the Republic of China government and several machinery companies. He was awarded the Ministry of Economic Affairs Excellent Research Personnel award in 2003 and served as the Vice Director at the Smart Machinery Promotion Office. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Computer-Aided Engineering at National Formosa University.

Dr. Chan’s main research interests lie in Robotics and Automation Technology, Precision Machine Design, Finite Element Analysis and Testing, Machine Dynamics, and Smart Manufacturing Systems. He is a recipient of five Best Paper awards at IEEE conferences. Additionally, he received the 12th Chinese Society of Mechanism and Machine Theory (CSMMT) BEST PAPER AWARD and Professor Zeng Jinhuan’s Commemorative Paper Award in 2009.
