Following this, she served as a Lecturer at Devanga Arts College, Aruppukottai, Tamilnadu, from February 2004 to August 2006, and then at Thirumalai Engineering College, Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu, from August 2007 to July 2008. Dr. Nagalakshmi then joined Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, Paiyanoor, Chennai, where she held the position of Lecturer from July 2008 to October 2011, and later as an Assistant Professor from October 2011 to November 2022. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor at Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, where she has been contributing to the institution’s academic excellence since November 2023.
