Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahriar Shirvani Moghaddam, Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Associate Professor of Communications at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University, Tehran, Iran, is a distinguished IEEE Senior Member and an internationally recognized researcher in IRS-assisted wireless communications, D2D and V2V communications, cognitive radio, heterogeneous networks, broadband Internet, IoT, ultra-dense networks, and digital array signal processing. As a prolific academic, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as IEEE Access, Engineering Reports, Physical Communication, Electronics, and IET Wireless Sensor Systems, covering groundbreaking contributions ranging from intelligent reflecting surfaces, data sorting algorithms, MIMO optimization, and broadband communication architectures to energy-efficient and sustainable network design. His extensive scholarly output includes 43 JCR, ISI, Scopus, and ISC-indexed journal papers, over 60 additional journal and conference papers, book authorship and editorial works in digital and cognitive radio communications, and multiple research collaborations and projects bridging academia and industry. Dr. Moghaddam has played key leadership roles including Dean and Head of the Faculty and Communications Department, designed the Digital Communications Laboratory, and supervised numerous M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses in advanced communication systems. His research excellence has earned him multiple best researcher, lecturer, and publication awards, along with recognition for his editorial and reviewing contributions to over 600 international papers.
