Dr. Reem Khalid Abu-Shawish is an Associate Professor at Qatar University’s College of Education, specializing in educational sciences. She holds a Doctor of Education from Exeter University, an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching from St Mary’s University College, and a B.A. in English Language from Qatar University. Her doctoral thesis focused on schoolteachers’ involvement in decision-making in Qatar. Dr. Abu-Shawish has held various academic and administrative roles, including Chair of the Department of Educational Sciences and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.
